Aurora is a video installation inspired by the unusual snowstorm in Buenos Aires in 2007. Two synchronized projections of a blurred self-portrait in motion reveal a rush of subtle changes of behavior and emotions. In between the two images, four small speakers narrate a personal short story that took place during the storm.
Additionally, in between the two projection and the four speakers, fake snowflakes occasionally fall from the celling. Integrated to the gallery's architecture a fake snowmaking device randomly generates plastic particles resembling snowflakes that start accumulating in the floor.
