Aurora (2008)

home

This installation explores the disembodiment as a consequence of living in two different cities. A story is narrated in first person while one element of this narrative – a snowstorm – is physically recreated in the gallery space.
Two pairs of sanded acrylic sheets (utilized as small projection surfaces) and four small speakers are suspended in the space. Embedded in the ceiling and integrated to the gallery's architecture a light box generates a random flow of particles that falls and gathers in the floor.
